Documentation architecture
How Varybase combines tenant isolation, grounded AI generation, and Fumadocs rendering.
Shared capability#
Varybase and customer sites use the same site-scoped documentation capability. Fumadocs provides the documentation layout, navigation, and table of contents; Varybase owns tenancy, permissions, lifecycle, and content storage.
Grounded generation#
AI generation runs record their model, prompt version, input scope, and result. Generated content starts as a draft and references immutable source snapshots such as repository files, API operations, or database schemas.
Freshness#
Each source snapshot has a locator and checksum. When the current checksum changes, dependent revisions can be marked stale and returned to the review queue.
